What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Participate in 12-week program where you will gain exposure to specific stages of development such as front-end, back-end, deployment, and more.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced, extremely talented team that values collaboration and delivers high-quality results XPO Jobs Without Experience US
- Develop software using technologies such as React Native, C#, Java, Angular 10+ and more
- Work as an active member of the Mobile team in the development and support of mobile apps integrated with complex distributed systems
- Apply best coding practices and standards
- Work in an agile start-up environment with daily standups and continuous integration
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Recent college graduate or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university or college
- 2 or more years of relevant coursework
It’d be great if you also have:
- Class status as a junior (3rd year) or greater
- 2 or more years of relevant software development coursework
- Development experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C#, Java, C++ etc. XPO Jobs Without Experience US
- Development experience with Typescript or at least one JavaScript framework (Angular, AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, etc.)
- Experience in web, mobile and responsive design
- Solid technical competency in coding and testing
- A portfolio that reflects intuitive, functional and original design
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
- Ability to be open-minded and receptive to feedback in an intellectually rigorous environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask
