The DAL is accountable for providing strategic and multi-disciplinary drug development expertise to maximize the value creation and delivery of assets within the Development portfolio.\u00a0 As the leader of the asset team, the DAL drives the development and execution of an integrated development plan (IDP) for the asset with associated budget and resources. It is expected that the DAL works seamlessly across Biogen functions, ensuring all functional voices are represented, and demonstrates strong integration of business considerations of time, risk, and value into the planning and execution of the IDP.<\/p>\n The DAL is accountable to Biogen governance mechanisms for asset related actions and decisions and will represent the asset at portfolio governance forums, in discussions with PDC Leads (where applicable), Development Unit heads, and other senior stakeholders in the organization.
