Purpose Of The Position

Will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintain integrations with other applications ensuring all solutions constructed and/or acquired comply with integration architecture standards and directions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members to ensure successful execution of projects and proposing and enforcing coding standards and across the ServiceNow platform.
Position Accountabilities

  • This role will require communication with both internal (IS) and external (CPKC users) contacts as they are the key SME for ServiceNow capabilities and how they align to enable business and IS capabilities.
  • This role will also require the ability to convey (ServiceNow’s capabilities), Actively Listen (to customer challenges/requirements), and the ability to negotiate solutions that align business requests with ServiceNow out-of-box capabilities as much as possible and ensure minimal customization on the platform.
  • Being able to understand business/workflow problems and translate them into solutions on the platform is a key skill – Intermediate complexity.
  • Staying on top of the latest innovations within the platform and understanding their cost and potential value to the business – Complex
  • As we integrate L-CP and L-KCS ServiceNow instances into a single instance there will be a large number of decisions surrounding how to migrate/keep functionality but align with out-of-the-box functionality as much as possible
  • Understanding ServiceNow’s licensing model (ever changing)
  • Ensuring license compliance and growth modeling for future projects

Position Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma preferred requirement
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Developer (current)
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementer (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Security Operations, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience architecting, integrating, and automation solutions using ServiceNow and/or developing, supporting, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, Security Operations, Service Catalog, and Automation.
