Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Uses knowledge and experience to analyze workflows for production planning, procurement and production. The Developer through ERP design and data analysis will have three primary functions:
– Identify problems and requirements, analyze operational procedures, develop business process solutions, prepare work flowcharts, and make database configurations
– Create custom data reports and analyze data to understand consumption trends and develop production forecasts. Remote Owens & Minor Senior Post Jobs US
– Create custom data reports and analyze data to identify slow moving and excess raw materials and assist in the reduction of these components.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates with Inventory Control Coordinator to develop reports and review items cards to prevent Slow Moving and Obsolete Materials (SLOB).
- Maintains accurate data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system including MRP and performs daily analysis of Finished Goods planning and production.
- Preserves interfaces between applications for accounts, order management, and purchase orders. Remote Owens & Minor Senior Post Jobs US
- Performs production forecasting based on analysis of sales reports.
- Leads and/or participates on cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes, communications and working relationships in order maintain the supply chain of components to support Operations and eliminate downtime due to missing/short-dated/expired components. - Sets up and process mass changes within the ERP system. This can include component changes in multiple trays within a Hospital, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), mass pricing updates and/or Group Purchasing Organization
- Processes Planning reports on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis to include KPI data, ALL SUBD Report, GAP to Target, Backorder, Midcon Sub Report, Quarterly WIP Review, import Dealer Files, Item Setup Review, Pulling type awareness, excess Inventory report, sterilization report, and assist with Great Plains transition.
- Monitors EDI processes to maintain quality and consistency.
- Assists in establishing cost measurements and productivity standards for the facility.
- Creates standard work documents for data reporting and ERP maintenance.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proven ability to work well as a team member.
- 3 years’ experience with SQL programming language is required.
- 3 years’ experience with VBA programming language is preferred.
- Must be able to maintain a professional attitude in difficult situations.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and a proven ability to work independently, and an ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
- Uses knowledge, experience to perform all work independently, with little or no direct supervision and in accordance with verbal and written instructions and processes provided for guidance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or computer related field required.
- 2-4 years of professional experience with an ERP system. Preferably in an assembly manufacturing operation
- Ability to work with common ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with programming language required.
- Able to use applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and AutoCAD
- Excellent attention to detail
