Job Summary -This position reports to the International Customer Service Leader and works as part of a team to support a customer base (regional / products). The incumbent receives direction on sourcing and product availability issues from various planning teams in Alpharetta and manufacturing plants. The position will process orders for international customers and ensure customer expectations are met cost-effectively, timely, and efficiently. The incumbent will utilize supply chain, customer, regulatory, and systems knowledge to facilitate the resolution of problems encountered within the order management and fulfillment process. Core Responsibilities –
- Receive and process orders in SAP efficiently, timely, and accurately. Determine stock code availability and verify pricing. Configure customer orders (building containers) to optimize equipment utilization and minimize distribution costs.
- Identify and implement plans with planning teams, plants, and distribution centers to establish ship dates and locations that best meet customer requirements.
- Along with International Transportation, monitor SAP system and Freight Forwarder tracking tool orders to ensure shipment on a timely basis to meet customer needs.
- Develop, analyze, and implement cost reduction strategies for the international business teams.

- Act as a focal point for all customer inquiries/issues relating to order, price, credit, logistics, customs, damage, shipping, or related items. Work with necessary Halyard teams to resolve issues. Prepare order status reports for customers as appropriate.
- Lead week sales/marketing tie-out meetings for open customer orders – i.e., planned invoiced $s for the current month, outstanding issues.
- Provide support to the Halyard Concerns team in resolving all customer returns and shipping discrepancies.
- Develop and promote interpersonal relationships to build a team. Demonstrate a willingness to listen, be open to new ideas, support the decisions of the team, trust others, provide encouragement, recognize the contributions of other team members, and display a sense of empathy and understanding.
- By employing the quality management process, demonstrate a customer/end-user focus, stay close to customers (internal and external), and determine their needs. Commit to meeting these needs and continually strive to improve.

Qualifying Experience –
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred in International Business and/ or Logistics
- Understanding of International Logistics
- Intermediate analytical capability and Microsoft Excel data management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to build sustainable relationships (internal and external)
- Working knowledge International Trade concepts, i.e. INCOTERMS (preferred)
- Additional language skill highly preferred – Spanish and Portuguese
- SAP and Salesforce experience preferred.
