The Opportunity
- Summer 2024 Project Engineer Internship at a growing energy company
- 12-week internship, 40 hours/week, $25.00/hr

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with various engineering tasks while developing professional, ethical, and technical skills
- Assisting in preparing environmental calculations and drawing reviews (P&IDs, PFD, etc.) No Experience Par Pacific Holdings Jobs US
- Collecting and entering sample data, applying technical principles and theories for interpreting and analyzing data
- Reviewing and checking reports and identifying any deficiencies

- Participating in compliance training and refinery-wide safety efforts

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled student pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering required
- Completion of junior classification coursework by the start of the internship
- Minimum GPA 3.0 required
- Previous work experience preferred
- Involvement in extracurricular clubs and activities preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
- Availability to work on-site for a 12 week period beginning in May or June and concluding in August or September
- Available to work 40 hours per week in one of the following schedules as required by the assigned work area:
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

- Ability to secure living arrangements on the island of Oahu for work in Kapolei (travel, room, or board are not provided)
- Eligibility to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
