What We Do

The Development Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying business trends and problems through complex data analysis.  This position will interact within all areas of mortgage servicing on a regular basis dealing with initiatives and projects.  This position has autonomy to manage multiple processes and projects and work with the individual departments to institute updated processes if needed. A successful Development Business Analyst will have mortgage industry knowledge, MSP system experience, T-SQL experience, decision making and customer service skills to retain critical relationships. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Develop operational, management, and exception reports using T-SQL and Power BI in a controlled, production environment.
  • Participate in conference calls regarding requirement gathering, code analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and communicate gaps in logic to operational units.  Partner to assist in remediation.
  • Mine, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Perform tests for validity, reasonableness, and accuracy through standard methods and application of specific subject-area knowledge.
  • Ability to quickly create ad-hoc reporting to assist in meeting needs of requirement gathering.

  • Oversee day-to-day deliverables.
  • Participate in management meetings and discussions.
  • Ability to react in an agile state due to quick turnaround times in business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Associate degree in a related Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration field of study. First American Business Analyst Jobs US
  • Six to eight years of recent experience as a data analyst or another related title in a financial or banking environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Mortgage industry experience required.
  • Experience and familiarity with MSP as a mortgage servicing platform.
  • Formal SQL training classes or certificate program.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, preferably Microsoft T-SQL.
  • Excellent time management and relationship skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written (grammatical) communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $86,180 – $191,820 (Annually)

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate’s education, training, experience, and geographic location.
